PROC programme

PROC Programme is a software system for preparing optimal cutting charts and combining them into groups as tasks for shift work. Unlike OPTIMA, BARS PROC programme can be installed on the PC not connected to the Bars machine allowing to plan work by preparing optimal cutting charts and forming a plan for cutting logs for working shifts independent of the machine meaning no idle time for the machine and no loss of working hours by the operator.

Features of PROC Programme

  • Improved algorithm of making optimal cutting charts by the criteria of maximum lumber output enables the customer to increase the lumber output by 2-5% compared to OPTIMA programme and 7-12% compared to the manual mode.
  • Optimal cutting charts are saved in the database and can be transferred to the OPTIMA programme.
  • Tasks for shift work are made taking into consideration the productivity of the machine, the species of wood cut and the length of the working shift
  • The results obtained are used for more fast searching of optimal cutting charts
  • Search of optimal cutting charts for the shift task in one click (re-calculation of cutting charts to optimal ones)
  • BARS PROC programme allows to organize the production process more efficiently
  • It is possible to calculate optimal cutting charts and make a plan of work for the next shifts on the PC not connected to the machine.
  • Thanks to PROC programme the requirements to the qualification of operators of the machine are significantly lowered and the productivity of their work is improved.
  • Taking into consideration the time for cutting it is possible to plan the work correctly and exclude idle time of the machine.
