Optimization system is a hardware–software system controlling the machine operation with the help of special PC programme package via a special interface connection between the PC processor and the microprocessor of the machine.
Cutting principle for BARS machines with the use of optimization system and the machine itself are protected by patent RF No. 2217299.
The program allows to obtain high and stable lumber yields of 70% or more, and to increase the yield of valuable workpieces by more than 25%.
Optimization system ensures the following:
Automatically generated cutting charts to maximize the yield of lumber with set parameters, including quarter-sawn lumber for each single log without sorting by diameter
Automatic movement of saw blades in accordance with the optimal cutting chart generated by the optimization program
The possibility for the operator to interfere with the process of cutting to deal with actual characteristics of the sawlog and then return to the optimization mode
Displaying the process of cutting on the computer screen
The possibility to cut beams taking into account the width of cut of secondary processing machine, particularly BARS-DG sawmill (to double the productivity)
