BARS-3 and BARS-3-1000 machines represent a new generation of microprocessor controlled machines for cutting logs.
These machines are designated for cutting logs into high-quality edged lumber in the automatic mode.
SCOPE OF APPLICATION
The machine is to be operated at woodworking factories to manufacture high-quality lumber and to produce workpieces for moldings, glued beam, edge-glued panel, windows and parquet.

Automatic process of cutting Due to the combination of an advanced optimization system, an automatic lumber removal system and hydraulic log loader(option) the process of cutting is fully automatic.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION
The sawlog is secured on the stationery stand of the machine, and a bridge carrying the saw assembly moves along the machine's guide rails.
The process of cutting is accomplished with the help of two circular saw blades in the vertical and horizontal planes.
Circular saw blades are positioned to a specified size under the control of a microprocessor-based control system, according to the cutting chart tailored by the optimization program in the automatic mode.
The log is clamped and aligned with the help of a hydraulic system.
Sawn-off boards are removed by the reverse movement of the bridge at maximum speed. After the board is removed, the saw blades are automatically repositioned and another cut is made.
BARS-3 can be equipped with a hydraulic log loader with the help of which logs of different length may be loaded without readjustment and remote control of the bridge movement so that only one operator is required.
BARS-3 1000 to cut logs up to 1m in diameter is now under development.
